HSF 2014 - Challenge #18 - Poetry in Motion (circlet)

The Challenge: #18 Poetry in Motion - Gold Circlet

Fabric: N/A

Pattern: none. self drafted.
Year: 'Medieval'
Notions: Gold covered wire, various bits of broken jewelry

How historically accurate is it? I struggled to find exant examples to copy so I had to make an educated guess.

Hours to complete: Took me approx 1hr and a half.

First worn: N/A
Total cost: £4
Poem/Song: The Outlandish Knight. (also known as Lady Isabel and the Elf Knight) It mentions the lady and how the false knight plans to take all her gold and costly robes so I assume her circlet would have been gold and included.

I made the circlet by twisting jewellery wire into shape then glueing on some 'gems' and 'pearls' form broken jewellery.
